Alex and his team are enthusiastic, empathetic and highly specialised physiotherapist. They aim to provide a streamlined approach to assess, clinically diagnose and provide hands on therapy interventions, as well as contemporary rehabilitation programs to help you manage your injuries.

Bodyworks Sports Injury & Physiotherapy Clinic is keen to support the local sporting community ranging from leisure centre members and local sports clubs such as rugby, football, swimming and local dance schools.

Alex Ure, BSc(Hons), MCSP

Alex qualified as a physiotherapist from Brunel University in 2014. He developed his career in the NHS working for Oxleas NHS foundation trust where he worked in Adult learning disabilities, Musculoskeletal (MSK) and continues to work in the NHS Bexley Neuro rehab team.

This experience has equipped him with the skills and expertise to manage a variety of conditions with high standards, efficient use of resources and maintain a patient centred approach.

He kindly allowed me to sit in on sessions (with the consent of patients) for some observational work experience, giving me insight into various MSK injuries, conditions and treatments while explaining his clinical reasoning and demonstrating how he communicates professionally with patients. Alex was very understanding of her needs and talked through all the different exercises to improve her flexibility and strength.  Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Last week I had a gym accident and my knee locked and wouldn't straighten. After a painful few hours in A&E didn't solve my problem, I got in touch with Bodyworks in desperation. Alex fortunately had a free slot late evening and I was happy to hobble there. With patience, the right knowledge and technique and without once hurting me, he was able to set the knee right. I was able to walk back home to my great relief. Can't praise Alex and Bodyworks highly enough!

Before we saw Jenny my daughter had been suffering from Osgood Schlatters for over a year & had see other Physiotherapists, Sports Therapists, Osteopaths & Chiropractors & although they helped temporarily, in most cases, the pain always returned & kept my daughter out of sports for long perios of time. Although we were initially sceptical, Jenny's approach is different & it works. Cant recommend Jenny & Bodyworks enough. As they say  - trust the process.

Two minutes of physio...Jenny literally ironed out my hip problem with her arm so I  could do normal things like walking uphill and carrying chunky items without pain and studiously provided me with self-help exercises in our follow-up.
